Get in the Loop

We just installed an induction loop system

What is an induction loop system?:

It sends an audio signal directly to the hearing aid (or loop listener) which allows for a better listening experience for the hearing impaired.

How to use an induction loop system:

•Switch hearing aid to the “T-coil” setting.

•The volume can often be adjusted normally with the hearing aid.

•Your hearing aid may be compatible, check with your audiologist.

How to use a loop listener:

•Place the headphones on your ears.

•Make sure the volume is down and turn the loop listener on.

•Set volume to desired level and enjoy a great listening experience.

•Remember to turn off when not in use.

What’s the buzz?:

Electrical interference may cause a slight “buzz” in your ear.  Simply move to another seat or location; you don’t have to move very far.

Other helpful hints:

In some cases the “T-coil” setting turns off the “Microphone” setting in the hearing aid.  Be aware of this when others try to talk with you.

This technology can be installed in your home.  Visit www.ilooping.com for information.
