Compassion Network

Compassion Network is a diverse movement of local congregations, youth, entrepreneurs, artists, people of faith, skilled professionals, and every day people, united in Jesus who are willing to serve the disadvantaged in our society through compassionate action. Compassion Network aspires to educate and activate a movement of volunteers toward this lifestyle of compassion. Every individual has a skill or ability that they can offer to someone in need. Compassion Network matches the need with the hand to help. It is an honor and privilege to help people in need by addressing the whole person whether it is physically, financially, emotionally, intellectually or spiritually. Whole people are healthy people. Healthy people conceive healthy communities. Healthy communities and families construct a better nation. Healthy nations create a better world. Let us be a city church that is not only aware of the needs around us, but eagerly responds by sharing our "glass of water," allowing hope within to lift the chin of another.

Compassion Network would like to thank those from New Hope who have committed to help Compassion Network meet the needs of others in the Tri-city area. However, many weekly needs continue to go unmet. When you agree to receive the weekly needs list (the Eblast), you’re not required to help every week. All we ask is that you read the Eblast, and if there is a need you are able and willing to provide a service for, call or email Cindy Buttles and she will take it from there. Your participation is greatly appreciated! Please contact me if you would like to receive the weekly EBlast.

Thank you, Tony Chapman
